Weird obscure bands you like??

Wow, thanks for sharing! Really impressed by the singer for the first group, he actually sounds a bit like Graham Bonnet... Really neat weird psychedelic stuff that's also very musical.

Oh gawd, could Woody's Truck Stop possibly copy Chicago anymore than that lol?

I remember Woody's Truck Stop being before Chicago, at least before they became famous. But come to think of it, I don't know if Woody's Truck Stop fits the title of this thread, "weird-obsure-bands". Woody's Truck Stop is obscure but they weren't weird.

Ah, good old Streetheart. If you want a deeper cut with some interesting bass, check out Mr Tall, especially the solo section that starts around 4 minutes in. Kenneth "Spider" Sinnaeve is pretty funky ;) He's still over in the band Loverboy playing bass as far as I can remember.

Carved in Sand was my intro to them. Deliverance is a powerful cut! I've listened to most of their stuff over the years. While I am a fan, I think some of their tracks have immediate impact, while others.... not so much.

This is not bad. While my bands always play songs people want to hear, my listening preferences are pretty far out of the mainstream. I've never heard of these guys but it's pretty spot on for the time. Surprised I missed them.

Barkmarket.
I'll bet that you didn't think a two note bassline could be so complicated.


I dont even really listen to aggressive music, but Barkmarket is just different. All other aggressive music just seems like a bunch of actors playing their parts compared with Barkmarket.
