I learned that dogs sniff in stereo. Each nostril picks up a scent independently. This is why they will sometimes circle in order to find the "edge" of a scent they're tracking.

I remember reading that something similar happens to humans. Each of our nostrils is better tuned for particular scents.

Today I learned that some modern cars with gas engines have knock sensors on every cylinder and can change the ignition timing on a per-cylinder basis. I always figured engine ignition timing was ******** or advanced across all cylinders based on a single knock sensor.

I don't drink soda and haven't in years. But I saw crystal Pepsi in a local deli and today and wanted to see what all the hype is about. Today I learned it's just as disgustingly sweet as I remember all soda being. This stuff is poison.
