What does your bass say about you?

Nothing says "I have a tiny wee-wee" like a 7+ string bass. :D

A doubleneck bass says you're an attention whore who should play guiterrr. :smug:

And of course a P-bass says that you're an old grumpy bass player who likes to belittle non-P basses... :ninja:

No, a P-Bass says that you're a Zen master who has honed in on The Essence and now knows how to drive a band and get people on their feet while hardly moving a muscle. ;)

I might be a little off kilter.

Mine says "Good God, man, the guy that owned me before you absolutely killed. I got to play all sorts of cool stuff. And now what? I get to hear the damn Joan Jett catalog over and over because you can't remember more than four notes in a song."

Well it depends which bass I'm wearing........

If the Bongo, it says, coo this guy must be a chick magnet cos they always come up and chat to him and admire his instrument....(it's the Bongo which is the chick magnet - not me).....but it will not invite people to use my lavatory (rest room).

If a P bass, J Bass or Stingray, it says, coo this guy must be gay - men always come and chat to him..............(it's the bass - they wanna know what model, what year, what strings, what mods etc etc etc (Stingrays generally excluded from the mods question - 2 band or 3 band; varnished neck or oil and wax replaces that question)

If a Dingwall - it says don't worry everyone, he chose me when he was wearing concave lenses in his spectacles.

Most of mine say, "This guy is no luthier. He buys us, makes plans to mod us, takes us apart, leaves us on the floor and goes off to gigs with his double bass. I want to be whole again!!!" :)
