What does your username mean?

Self explanatory.

I have been using this user name for many years. It started as a joke on me in a internet security fourm. I would not shell out the extra cash to upgrade from my v90 modem to the hottest thing going dsl. The moderators of the fourm would change whatever i was using ( i can't even remember my old user name) as a username to oleskool. Then they would send me a email notice of the change. Needless to say, i have cable now.

Well back at the age of 13, i was big into reptiles, had a lizard as a pet. so during school, we had to draw a family tree. i drew all the family members as geckos. then i drew myself as a super hero geckoman. my friend still has it, im 20 now, and moved away at 15. also back then i would use pretend to be a geckoman super hero to pull a few laughs out of friends. since then i've always used geckoman as a username. the numbers are just random.

My username comes from a High School Joke!
In my borough (I live in Naples, Southern Italy) Mafia Gangs started killing each other, so the President of the Republic of Italy wanted to receive some students from my school to get to know the situation (he's born in Naples).
I was picked up along with some other friends of mine to go there. Some girls that I met there asked me bout my hobbies and I said that I used to play in a punk rock band, the "smartest" of them told me that I looked more like an Altar Boy (coz I dressed well that day). Altar Boy in Italian is "Chirichetto", so when I got home I had a brand new nickname. Chirichetto became Kiriketto (internet typing sound alike) and Kiriketto became Kiripunk!

Not sure if I've posted here yet, so sorry if it's a repeat. (I'll try to remember this time!!)

About ten years ago, the girl I was with had a pet snake named Topaz. The snake died in my arms one night, so we had posted RIP Topaz on Facebook. After seeing it onscreen, it was impossible to avoid.

These days, an equal amount of people know me as Rip and my real name. Guess it was a good one.

i was in choir in college and we did a piece in German. One of the phrases in it was "der morgensterne" i.e. the morning star. (pronounced morgan -- shtare - na ). Morgan's my first name and for a while everyone in choir called me morgansterne. I dated one of the girls in choir for a year and she called me "sterne" for the next three years (till we both graduated and lost touch.):bawl:
