What ended your first band...

My first band wasn't really as much of a band as we were just a group of friends who enjoyed hanging out and jamming together on Friday afternoons. Some of the guys just got bored with music and moved on to other things. The rest of us continued on with music in some form or another.

I moved. I guess it didn't really end the band for anyone buy me. They got a replacement but I don't how long it lasted after I left. I got in contact with the original guitar player recently so maybe I'll ask him just for fun.

All but one of us graduated high school. We had even been offered a recording contract not long before that, but declined since we would be going to different schools all over the place. Too bad, we were really good. (Don Dixon was in that band, if anyone here knows him).

Guitar /founder/owner of the band...he is a great player and we got a great record dealer ( 1993) company paid for record, having us on national TV, international magazines...we where a metal band, unfortunally the guitar was a control freak, he dictated to be part of everything: recording, mixing, producing, booking live gigs...refusing any advice from people with more experience on the music/entertaining business...band never took off, producer lost alot of money and kicked us out from his catalog...

In my last most recent band, arrogance was a huge part of it and the reason I was let go from the band is I bought a house and they felt that would cut into my time which has never been a problem regardless before and would not of been a problem. That's ok the band was not doing much anyways so not sure what they were saying there. Then I found out the band folded about a couple months later.
