What happened to you today?

Sunday, as the sun is going down over Philadelphia...the girls go into the supermarket, and I go find a place to park.
Walking back toward the market I witness two guys...late teens/early 20s...raising some sorta sand and laughing their heads off!
I cut a wide berth around 'em, but come to a dead stop when I realize that they are stomping and yelling, and taunting a golden retriever that some tool had left locked (?) in his car. They're screaming at the dog, and the dog is LOSING its mind!
I didn't think...I didn't have a plan-b...I just shouted at them "What are y'all Thinking?! Why would you torture a dog?! What is WRONG with you?!!"
They both stepped back...a good sign, certainly better than if they'd stepped forward!
"What's it to you?! Who are you?!"
"Just a guy passing by."
"We'll just keep passing by!"
" That was my plan, until I saw y'all actin' the fool."
At that moment, a 4th voice enters the 'conversation'. Unseen until then, an older gentleman, apparently their boss...is standing at the door and says "Y'all don't wanna mess with him, boys! I hear those Georgia Bulldogs are a tough lot."
I was wearing my UGA hoodie.
I laughed out loud and said something about 'not this Bulldog...ain't so tough at all...'
"Well, you must have Some balls...talking to these two clowns like you did.
Break's over boys.
Get back in here and earn your money."
I waved to him as I walked away.

That was the first of 3 times in two days in Philadelphia that I wanted to ask "WHAT are you Thinking?!?", but the only time I said it out loud.
Why?!?

I woke up this morning 80% sure that I'd be playing a CL Takamine acoustic 4 string...with the cutaway...natural finish...a short drive...$150!...by day's end.

Instead, my Bride mentioned that we're driving cross country in the Spring, both substitute Teaching at every opportunity, I don't play the guitars I have enough as it is...I suspect you know the drill.

Instead, we spent that same dollar getting 2 years worth of leaves picked up & taken away when a group of landscapers with an hour to kill wandered by.

I've been sick all week, so... not much happening. One thing, though; my manager called. She asked if I was at work today. Told her I've been out all week. She wants to see me and my assistant tomorrow morning. So I may have something to report in the afternoon, ha ha, gulp!
