I bought a case of slip tip syringes for a project a while back and needed twist tip so rather than just junk them I had the bright idea to sell them on ebay in lots of 10. They've been moving really slowly but they have been moving so I'm not complaining. I sold a lot last week just in time to get tied up with a festering insect bite requiring hospital visits and such and they slipped my mind. Got an email from the buyer yesterday early and told them so sorry I promise I'll get them out today. I get them in a mailer, then go to print a label and no ink. I wind up running around for almost 2 hours to find a cartridge and I have to buy a set of four to get the one tub of black ink I need. Fortunately I get back home and get everything done and to the post office with about five minutes to spare before they closed for a three day weekend. After postage costs I'm clearing a couple bucks on each lot, but the ink cost me over sixty bucks, yee haa.
It was a perfect cap to a week I have been really glad to see become a part of my past. It's rare I have a week where every day has some kind of negative BS attached to it but this past week was one for the books.
