What happened to you today?

I just woke up *yawn*, don't usually sleep this late  Coffee and TB time!

I'm not quite understanding how having coffee is way down at 5th on your list, after leaving the house, and doing work like stuff ... What kind of voodoo is this?? :eyebrow:

No...that was coffee and cake with wifey..which is sort of an afternoon ritual that she subscribes to.

By this time I've already had about 8 cups of java and I always have one first thing when I get out of bed.

I wander round in an incoherent daze if I don't.

Ahh, ok ... you're not as odd as that first post read, then. Glad to confirm you put your pants on like everybody else ... one cup at a time

After waiting an hour, I saw and photographed a Groove-billed Ani. It's the only one known to ever have appeared in this area.

Here it is.

I woke up this morning at 5am as always, I did my 61 pushups "which is 2 more than my age which I started to do when I turned 50", then I do the marine dumbbell workout 35lbs dumbells, took a shower, fed my loving wife breakfast in bed as I have for the past 24 years :). After played the bass a little before taking out the garbage, dropped off my daughter at the University, before heading into the office. After that, the rest of my day is a blur of crazy busy situations and meeting deadlines which is non stop in my 10 hour a day routine. Yeah I am never bored. :) I have a desk job but I am rarely at my desk. I know I'm boring thanks people

a cat of mine missing for a few days guy down the street found him had been run over. quarter window for my 87 ford country squire wagon was shot out by some teens a few days ago safelite called me back today said they were no longer in production

Had a bust-up with a guy over Frank Zappa & why he went up against censorship.
The guy took it very personally, questioned my mental health, & whether I play bass at all.

He's one of those folks who pretends to be a nice guy, but in an argument he's losing he gets too personal.
At least I won't have to deal with him anymore, because he since blocked me & I learned from others he left both the FB groups we cohabited.

What Frank did was a big deal to some of us, others not so much. It's pretty disrespectful to enter a thread that is clearly about artist X & then trash artist X, but even worse if you have no idea what the heck you're talking about.

A cool trip to GC...truly, I don't get so many people bitchin' about GC...I can't remember a single visit that left a bad taste in my mouth.
Strings, short guitar cord, long headphone extension cord...nice, cool sales rep.

...an hour goofing around with some beautiful bass guitars that i had NO intention of buying...they left me all alone...

Between sweet time spent with my middle grand daughter and messin' with a $3500 Ibanez, and a $99 Dean,
I had a great day!

Go Dawgs!

Is the 'made for (American) TV' movie that explored(?) the relationship between Frank & John Denver as they prepared to meet the Senate Of The US to challenge Al (Tipper) Gore's
PRC drive toward censorship of music based in anything we would recognize as reality?!?

I'd like to think so...

@rtslinger , wow, that is bad luck. Hope the repairs don't cost too much.
Well I know already the MBZ is not going to be cheap never is :( at least $50.00 US for the belt if it doesn't need the tensioner? if that needs to be replace 150 before labor.
The other one I am at a lose because I wasn't driving it, so I am not sure what was happen before it decide to just dropped dead? I drove the car for 3 years before handing it off to my son. never any problems used it for many a gig night, and daily drive to the office. only has 144,000 on it serviced regularly. His only comment was it just died then nothing lights work horn works radio every but it wouldn't crank? Maybe he seized it up, no idea? fingers are crossed :)
