I would never accept anything less than being a total jerkweasle. A partial jerkweasle? Nosirree. Nothing but the whole package for me.
TB reminds me of a friend's blog from a few years ago. We had gotten to the point that we'd discussed everything ad nauseum, so I referred to it as "the Seinfeld of blogs" since it was basically a blog about nothing. The owner of the blog liked it because he knew it was true. TB is just the bass player version of that. Which is cool by me, because it's entertaining.
I don't have a Fender. I must not be serious!

Can't tell if trolling the two other anti-fender posts I've read on TB today, or if you're trolling the many many Fender lovers in the world.
I'm just wondering.. who told anybody they HAD to play ANYTHING.. it's your money.. or maybe your mommy's money IDK or C... go buy what you want, but I mean if you're going to be a Tuna swimming in the midst of a bunch of sharks.. you really going to question the chunk missing where there used to be a dorsal fin? (Tunas have dorsal fins right?)
But really the most important question of the day, is it simply pronounced "jerk weez el" or "jerk weez Al" for added flare. Like Al Bundy.

@Nobody While I've been trying to curtail my time spent looking at TB since as we know it's full of Fenderless jerkweasels, and therefore not worth visiting, I have to say it was worth the visit to the site just for the title of this thread, I LOL'ed

I'm quite aware this is in the "bass humor" section.. and yeah.. I find this entire post quite humorous ;P As if it were started by someone's disdain for other peoples appreciation of something. And that's ok too.. but it IS a public forum. I'm allowed to laugh at it how I choose to. By the way.. I have a few instruments bought with mommy's money. Don't take it personal.
The Fender conglomerate already owns Jackson and Hamer. Why not Have the Japan factory produce one of them and make them as unusual/ cool as the Fenders made there. The other could be made in Korea by the same factory that produces Cort,Lakeland, etc and give the midrange market a kick in the butt. A Jackson/Hamer Korean neck thru for $ 5-600 would be a better option than a MIM Fender or MIC Squier in my book. And USA custom shop editions of both would be cool too. It would give GC a bigger selection of basses anyway.
