The Alembic I once owned - but was forced to sell back in the 90s. I had to sacrifice it for a very good reason. But I never quite forgave myself for selling it. And I do miss playing it. That bass was awesome. Absolutely awesome. I'd love to get it back.

I would love to get Birdseye maple wood covers to go on my (see avitar) Carvin Vanquish... you know, in the meantime! lol
Mine would be a very high-end Warmoth build, as I already have a "once in a lifetime" bass, which is a Warwick limited edition. I'm very happy with my 4-figures (new purchase price) basses, and like to play around with modding cheapies, gigging them until they have thrice paid for themselves, and repeating the process.
