Really enjoying "Gunther's Millions" thus far. Interesting doc about a millionaire dog (sort of). The layers of weird and the unique characters in it give me Tiger King vibes.

Between original Dune, new Dune and book Dune, I'd rather go to the DMV. I'd rather go to the DMV without my phone. I'd rather sit in a chair looking at a wall. An uncomfortable chair and an ugly wall. Dune is terrible.

I've tried so many times to get into Dune but it just doesn't grab me. A bunch of space political nonsense. I have seen the newer movie adaptation and it was... Fine. I remember sand. Lots of sand. And not much else.

Some ideas are really cool like the spacefarers guild and such but for the most part it just seems like boring drudgery around the politics of this place, that guy, this family, that lady, this and that order etc.

Now from yesterday’s F1 qualifying to the Spanish Moto GP from last weekend. Always good to have stuff “taped”. Easier than looking up on U-Tube or …..

I've tried so many times to get into Dune but it just doesn't grab me. A bunch of space political nonsense. I have seen the newer movie adaptation and it was... Fine. I remember sand. Lots of sand. And not much else.

I liked the first book, but not really sure why it became a sci-fi classic. I couldn't get a quarter of the way through the second. The films are all OK, but nothing special.

I've been out of town, so my wife and I waited until tonight to watch Silo. We both loved the books.

They made these movies the right way, IMO. Instead of horror, they turned the "Mummy" story into action/adventure/comedy, and it worked.

Angel and the Badman. A classic John Wayne Western.
I sure prefer these old time movies to what's coming out nowadays.

Lol! I thought I was the only one who wasn’t thrilled with Dune! I’ve tried watching the one with Sting 3 times and I passed out in the middle each time.

Dune is a little like Ender's Game, or Catcher in the Rye, some people love it, other's loathe it.
