Started 12 Monkeys (the TV series from 2015). I rewatched the movie last night. I'd forgotten how good this was. Brad Pitt is phenomenal. The series seems off to a solid start.

It reminds me that there was once a time when tough-guy actors didn't have to look like they spent 5 hours a day in the weight room. These guys radiated masculinity while keeping their shirts on.
Are there any modern-day equivalents to actors like Lee Marvin and Charles Bronson? Or James Coburn, Robert Mitchum, Steve McQueen, etc.?

This afterPM we watched Dances with Wolves. I haven't seen the film since it first came out in the theaters. Even at 4 hours long it held my attention; excellent movie. I even knew the DP (Dean Semler) back in 1990 when he was in town filming Lonesome Dove.
Over the weekend we watched "All Quiet on the Western Front" (1979) and "Saving Private Ryan".
