I was pretty disappointed in that one. I had higher hopes for it since Phoebe Waller-Bridge was involved, but the whole thing just felt tired and I just didn't care about her character. It was better than Crystal Skull, but that's damning with faint praise.

I really liked it, too. They did a great job of bringing it all together to end (we'll see about that) the franchise.

Got panned but I liked it. And saw it not long after having been in Syracuse, Sicily and had researched that same battle (and another previous in the same bay - there are an insane number of wrecks there). There's surprising historical basis for much of it.

Ah, I can see that making sense in your case. I watched it for Indiana Jones, thus a different take on how it went.
I had no idea Sallah was in there, so that was a way cool surprise when he pulled up in the taxi.
You are right on though about the story line itself being tired. It is the same movie each time, just a few different variables. I can totally see some folks being bored with it. I think because Raiders came out at such an influential time in my life and the memories I have of going to the theater to see it, I will never tire of the movies.

Raiders is hands down one of the best movies ever made, as far as I'm concerned. Holy Grail was pretty good, but not as. The rest, for me, are all pretty disappointing.

This Is The Tom Green Documentary.
By golly, Tom is a farmer in Canada now and he looks happy with his current lot in life.
That sure was fun to watch, a stroll down memory lane with some hilarious moments. My buddies and I did goofy stuff like Tom did but we weren't ambitious enough to borrow camcorders and record it. That, and I never would have seen the light of the next day had I tried one of those middle of the night pranks on my parents. Funny as heck though watching Tom do it.

After starting it from the beginning, I'm just past the halfway point in the final season (7). They take on some pretty heavy war-related themes that go beyond flashy space battles where a few buttons are pushed and some ship is destroyed and they move on. Overall the show was really well done. Also really like what they did with "Vic Fontaine" and the inference that he's not a normal holographic character, without really explaining further (not yet anyway).

DS9 definitely goes into heavy themes and morally grey (or full on morally compromised) decisions in the face of existential threat. I'm kind of eager to get past the earlier seasons into the more meaty plots, but there's still good stuff there too. I skip over a lot of the first season episodes of most Trek shows in rewatches.
