They should've made Ralph Fiennes more unhinged. They wasted his talent. They present this wacky mysterious guy from a distance with mountains of skulls and weird ideas, but he couldn't have been more polite and a pleasure to be around. It was an odd choice.
Agreed. We stopped watching after season 2 because the clown freaked out my wife.Binge watching season 1 of American Horror Story: Murder House. I'd forgotten how good the early seasons were. Didn't care much for some later seasons.
Excellent series.
I really enjoyed it, looking forward to The Bone Temple.
I have a feeling your wish may be granted in the next one. They should've made Ralph Fiennes more unhinged. They wasted his talent. Smoke, also on AppleTV - I don't know about this. Again just one ep in, but It seems a bit full of itself and trying too hard to be edgy. I also made the mistake of reading reviews on IMDB and the consensus is the ending sucks.
I'm a sucker for all things Dexter but I will say Resurrection may be the first one with a fun ending. Last episode is intense.Halfway through Dexter: Resurrection. Better than the last 2 reboot attempts, but still pretty laughable and poorly written.
This was a lot of fun.
I had never seen it.Hah! I forgot about that one!
Well the good/evil timeslot appropriate stuff played itself out by the end of the first series. What was left was a tight knit family of misfits making it work. That spoke to a growing sense of alienation in those beatnik days. By the time the movie got made the contrarian censor skirting logic was never gonna work. So they made it about outsider loyalty. To the delight of goth girls everywhere. I think Wednesday plays that to the hilt.I can't suspend my disbelief about the Addams's having morals. The joke is they like bad things and dislike good things. They enjoy torture. They remove stop signs and cause accidents and are gleeful. But in the show, they're all that and at the same time they're portrayed as honorable and honest and with a strong sense of justice. It worked for the movies. The contradiction annoys me when their character development is so drawn out.
