DrBass style non delivery. I read he is no tech himself and struggles to get contractors.Might just go with verellen or science then. Electric just sounds downright shady.
I've come to the same conclusion based on my findings today after looking for info to help steer Pills in the right direction. Supposedly these days he has no faceplate engraver and wont ship the amps without faceplates. But he's still taking orders. Not to mention after hands on experience with an EA. They're a little shoddy looking in general and faceplates aren't *any* better looking.DrBass style non delivery. I read he is no tech himself and struggles to get contractors.
Dunwich takes too long, but I'll definitely check out navtone. For ****'s sake man, I just wanted an electric!Try Dunwich or Navtone. The Science Mother and Sister have the F.A.C. but use the Hiwatt tone stack.
Do they sound like GT's and OR's though?I don't think he has a website but this is the e-mail he has on his Instagram profile:

I've talked with him before about a custom build but I decided I wanted something already designed and built to please everyone as opposed to an amp built from the ground up that only pleases me. I'm a sound engineer, with a home studio so my amps are the studio's amps. Hence the Science Hellhawk (1/3 JTM45, 1/3 Super Lead, 1/3 Super Bass) and not a custom Navtone. His Matamp type builds are stupid nice though.
Honestly I wouldn't know. Also the EAs are not like GTs in several ways according to a post I read by Nick from Dunwich today.
There are no more Matamp kits available from Hilbish it looks like. I believe this Weber kit is a type of Orange clone Invalid Link Removed I've read it's decent but could probably use some souping up.
As silly as this might sound, I'd be able to justify getting a Verellen if they weren't so aesthetically ugly.
Oh hush. They are rocksolid, heavyduty gear and gorgeous.
