What's your one true "Forever Bass"?

This is my 2008 American PBass. I have changed the pickguard and put on the cream pickup covers. I have had it for 11 years and cannot imagine getting rid of it ever. I am considering changing the pickup but I'm not sure yet.

I have moved permanently to my 2019 American Pro Jazz V. I have an American Standard Jazz(2013) 4 string. It's been locked up in its case for about six weeks. I'll never part with either one.

That would be my late '82/early '83 (determined from dates on original parts) Made in the US, a Fender Jazz in Olympic white. It has a 1-piece maple neck with white binding, a white pickguard, white pickup covers, and white strat-type knobs. I also put on some white tapewound LaBella strings on it (the pic is with DR Black Beauties) and a wide white-leather strap. Bought it in 1985 in absolutely mint condition. It has a 60's shallow C-shape neck with 7.25" radius which is exactly what my 1965 Jazz had (stolen in 1976). I often refer to her as my "White Lady".

My homemade Jazz with a p neck. Audere preamp Aguilar pickups great Hardware reasonable weight and great feel make this bass a real Workhorse and winner. Super close to copying a full P tone, with the comfort of the super reggae dub and funk I love so much. I wanted a forever Bass so I built it and everything here is exactly to my specifications.
