Well, that's quite a few minutes of my life I won't be getting back!
I haven't liked tattoos, never have and probably never will. To my they look dirty and the person who has then appears to me, to be dirty.
There a number of pics in this thread and I have to be honest, I don't see the attraction.
Piercing, well, here's my take on it... as I grow older, I'll be pushing 50 in a while, I've found that the good lord has a sense of humor as it seems to me anyway, that the orifices' I was given a birth, seem to work less well every year, so why temp fate and create yet another potential problem area.
FRom a business perspective, I have been a "headhunter" fro the last 20 years and in my experience, Tats can certainly be a deciding factor in a competitive recruit.
Think about it this way... if you walked into an investment firm, say, with a large sum of money, would you feel confident in giving that money to an individual covered in tats... well some of you may, but I certainly won't!
And yah, my wife got a tat and in all honesty, it was probably the worst argument that we have had in the 25 years we have been together... her argument was that it's her body and she should be able to do what ever she wants... my argument being, I'm the one who has to lokk at that dirt on your skin (It's on the back of her neck)
