"I yam what I yam" Popeye the Sailor.
Kind of sounds like the 5th option on the poll:I sling mine so the belt buckle is in the curved out portion at the bottom of the bass body, mainly to prevent buckle rash. The neck is held pretty close to parallel to the ground. This was not an option on your poll, not that I expected you to have every possible position listed.
Are you a low-slung bass guy/gal?

How about the ol' low-but-vertical?

Maybe you like the body in the middle, but you prefer the neck angle at about 45-degrees.

Mid-body position with the 90-degree(ish) neck angle?

Or can you almost hear your heartbeat through the back of the pickups?

I think I've tried most of these through the years. I'm interested in the why/why-nots of different bassist's preferences. Where do you 'wear' your bass? (photos encouraged!)
