Well, this one (probably my favorite P-Bass) is Vintage White, which looks pale yellow. But still shows up pretty well with a black shirt. And here's my white P/J (which is definitely white...

The BL in this band was a real jerk about letting me near the front of the stage, and I move around a lot so no great pictures of the front on stage, but I love the look of my white T-bird. Especially with the custom PG on it.
I didnt used to like white basses...now I love them. My stingray is white and looks great on stage. It has a black pg on it but I have a white one too. I would love a white Ric, mine is FireGlo.

Had the Jazz on the left a long time. Got the white G&L M-2500 fretless a few days ago. The yin/yang thing did not escape my consciousness. The M's 'board is bound in white, too. And white pearl knobs. Wanted a white bass since Graham and Harris back in the 70s an 80s. It looks fantastic live. Day or night.
This is the bass that got me hooked. I still have it and play it regularly. White always looks great on stage, IMHO, especially a Bird!!
I used to only play Black Basses now I seek out unique colors. I own Sherwood Green, Silverburst, Lake Placid Blue, Copper Penny, White, Silver, etc...
The real problem is that it’s really hard to find high end Basses in colors other than red, white, black and sunburst without custom ordering.

There is no neck pickup. This bass was never factory routed for one,so that’s the way it’s going to stay.
