The only thing I don't like about CL or Kijiji is when you go to meet someone for a potential sale or purchase. I'm pretty paranoid and always wonder if I'll end up on the menu of a Hannibal Lector wanna-be. I always send my wife the address that I'm going to and tell her, "If I don't come back, avenge me (or have the kids do it)!" Rule of thumb going to a public place is easier said than done when you want to actually try the bass out on an amp. Difficult to do in the food court of the local mall. Otherwise, all of my transactions, buying and selling, have been pretty positive on CL and Kijiji.
Tough call, but GC won out over McDonald's because I sometimes still spend money at Mickey D's...love those fries! 
I voted for the drummer because the guy running Gibson wasn't here, neither was the guy running Rickenbacker into the ground, and Gene Simmons wasn't either, but I like Gene well enough so I still would have voted for the drummer, unless any of the members of Metallica were listed, then I would have voted twice.
in my personal experience its always been my girlfriend who has consistently been a roadblock to anything music related whether it's time to practice at home or time for rehearsal with the band ...always complaining....
I would have chosen Paypal .... if you've ever had a dispute with a buyer. MF/GC yes
McDonalds? A cheeseburger, fries, and a coke will sustain life as you travel, minimal time wasted, and nearly identical product anywhere in the US.

You forgot the IRS. If not for them, I could buy more musical stuff.

Their listings are free. They don't ask for fees or take any type of percentage of your sales. You can easily modify your listings at any time. You have complete anonymity if you like. You can arrange for buyers to come to you, on your schedule. And you can't get hosed with bad feedback like on that other site.
True, there can be some real toolboxes posting on there... but that can be the case with any site.

I kid, sir... my whole band came together there, and I've successfully bought, sold, and even got good free stuff using it. Plus some of those flakey encounters make fun stories later on
Whenever I get stuff sent FedEx ground from east of the Rockies, it stalls out in Evanston, WY for three days. Not just stuff from Musician's Friend (which usually comes UPS anyway), but anyone. Private sellers, Amazon. The delivery driver also seems to be able to land the stuff on my porch from a moving truck without stopping.
