Who's got a favorite strap?

Anthology straps are great, I have them on all my guitars (all 3” straps).

But, started playing bass this summer and found that a 4” strap worked best for me for that, which Anthology does not make.

i’ve settled on Italia, which are simple, but beautiful and well-made, and you can get them in two-tone leather (top side and bottom side of strap), which looks great. Each one is custom made to your order, so it takes a week or so before they ship it out. The straps are theoretically $120, but they regularly have two-for-one sales. Once you buy some straps, you get coupons and get them for just slightly over half price, sometimes less in email “flash” sales. (I have 4 of them now.)

There is a two for one sale going on right now, through tomorrow:

I used to own a dark brown leather strap with some sort dyed black engraved pattern made from a wide belt, but unfortunately I somehow managed to loose it, and I don't even got a proper picture of it.

One of these, that I am pondering on ordering at some point in the not too distant future could very well become my new favorite strap, as I love the look of them:

Full Stingray for my Stingray. The strap was made by Jodi Head. I purchased it here from the classifieds. Resistance was in fact futile.

Looks and feels great. Though, it's spot at the top of my list might be short lived, as I found a new maker and have some custom straps coming for other basses. We'll see

I know this is a necro bump, but I thought about starting a "favorite strap" thread and did a search first, and woe behold, turned out I was far from the first person getting this idea, in fact there was tons of threads already with a similar title, so I thought instead of starting the 117th thread on the exact same topic, I would rather pick the most recent active one and post in that instead.

So I really love my 2" polyester Levy Sunset Strap.

"Inspired by the rich Aboriginal [Australian native population] artistry and the mesmerizing dot painting technique..."

I not only absolutely love how it looks, but I also like the fact that it makes it easy to adjust the position of my bass on the fly while wearing it, depending on playing position.

Yes, I actually like the fact that it is fairly slippery.

This is how it looks:

well, two straps to mention:

out of the grippy suede inside varieties my favorite is the Martin Ball Glove 2.5" strap. yeah, I have a Lakota and a Franklin, but my Martin is my favorite despite being narrower and the fact, I normally prefer 3".

out of the smooth inside variety, I'm still very happy with a Franklin Purist Suede. not sure how the faux-leather will hold over the years, ask me in like five years if it's still holding well.

Betty Mono strap (long) for me. 3" wide, padded neoprene, steel fittings, fully adjustable, and comes with a plectrum pocket for when you need to bust out a pick. It's a bugger to get it fitted onto the bass, but once it's in place, that sucker is never coming off. Great strap.
This is my go-to. I have it on my main three basses.

This strap was case candy when I bought my StingRay 46 years ago, just about this time of year. It is unsafe for use:

The pin is from a time when buttons were a sort of street cred. People gave me all manner of buttons. I stuck the "Monk" pin in so long ago, it won't come out. Send the strap to Jeri Hart for rehab, and this is what she comes up with:

The finished strap:

Back on the 'Ray, where it belongs. It is far and away the most comfortable strap I own:
