Well if ya count my NV215 as 'rockin 2x 15"s w/ no tweeter' - I'm IN!!! The NV215 has a 6" hi freq driver, NO tweeter, & DEF> doesn't SOUND like a tweeter!!!!! I USUALLY have it between '1/4 on or OFF' but even on at 1/2way on it's dial it still sounds smooth & very much UNLIKE a tweeter(which it aint anyway)
LOVE 2x15"s- such a big round old Sch. sound!!! SWEEET!

A tweeter and a high frequency driver are one and the same. That 6" thing is a midrange driver.

As soon as I get off my arse and build the cab, I'll be in this club too. I didn't see anything out there that I really liked in the right price range so I've decided to build it myself.

2 15" B&C 15NW100's
1 6.5" B&C 6MD38
NO TWEETER!!

That 6MD38 extends pretty clean out to 6KHz and I HIGHLY doubt I'll need any more extension than that. I so can't wait to get this rig built.

Each cab is 18" x 28" x 24" with a 15 and no tweeter. Even with my power amp barely turned up, my pants legs were flapping.

I've always loved the look of the deep red bag end cabs.

You really need to try those someday bi-amped with a 6ND410 in a small sealed box. I'm working on my new version of that which I call a fEarful Headcase. EDIT: Could hook up with Passinwind to check that out - he's going that route too.

200 watts, 2 15's tweeters off, (they only produce finger noise) new acoustics!!!

Well, I've been shopping the last couple of weeks. Nice change of pace from frantically selling everything I own ...

Found two great deals here on TB, a Sunn 200s and 2 x TL606's. Here they are in my practice room (the Sunn is still unloaded for now):

Love the TL606's so far (only got to try them for a couple of minutes so far tonight, but sounds extremely promising).

yeah man, I use a MarkBass Jeff Berlin w/ a markbass 1x15 cab, tweeter turned off.
