I'd have to say of all time it would have to be Mr. John Entwistle. I remeber The Who as a kid and I remember the bass as a kid. But Flea, he got me playing bass. I heard the bassline to Higher Ground in the 4th grade and I knew thats what I wanted to do.

I'd have to say of all time it would have to be Mr. John Entwistle. I remeber The Who as a kid and I remember the bass as a kid. But Flea, he got me playing bass. I heard the bassline to Higher Ground in the 4th grade and I knew thats what I wanted to do.

Dude, I'm in a similar situation, went to one of their shows live (you know back when they actually toured and wrote stuff). And got to meet Flea, and that coupled with me hearing him play on stage got me thinking that I wanted to play bass.
