People with feet?Shows you the audience he's being marketed to...![]()
I really like Korn and i think the bass playing of Fieldy fits just fine. No he is not a Voctor Wooten (thank god for that) ..and so what?
But.. to all of you who doesnt think he does his job properly... Please go ahead and record some Korn tunes and LET US ALL HEAR how it really should be done! I cant wait to hear Korn music with a REAL BASS PLAYER.
^^
I can't wait for the next "I don't get Jaco" thread. It's like watching reruns on AMC.

Most professional guitar players I know think he was a **** guitar player in terms of technique, but they'll all be the first to admit that he was very creative.
Riff rock isn't a very complicated thing to do.
Show me a solo where Page did it cleanly and I'll eat my hat.
The funny thing is, if he was just a loose player live, because he was so into it, it'd be a slightly different story. However, tales abound about how he was always concentrating so hard whilst playing.
You mean because he can't play the way YOU choose to play, I dont see exactly what you mean by "he cant play" as seeing as even his "percussionist" style does require you to produce that sound out of the bass, althought I can emulate his sound just as well with a baby rattle(even I cant help it sometimes) still I can't get enough of that rattle click mayhem

Ever notice how it's easier to play something that you wrote than to learn something someone else wrote?
Of course he fits the band. Ever notice how it's easier to play something that you wrote than to learn something someone else wrote?
