Okay, the guitar player finally sent the pics of the bottle opener in action.

The headstock has a magnet in it, so it catches the bottle cap. And it worked! So I was happy.

Here's a terrible sound clip of this, just so you know the thing makes noise. It all works pretty well, the electronics function 100%. But here's a garbage take with me messing with the various features, specifically the low A and then the mid freq.
(FWIW, every bass makes noise in this room, no matter how well shielded. They are dead quiet at band.)
