Winter Build Off 2020 - Malefactor 5

They are tapered slightly and have a hexagonal shape that is serrated. The head is 2mm thick and is inset. I'll get a pic up of one. They are glued in with epoxy, and the screwed into from the back of the neck, so they are sucked in harder when tightened. :)

It's only a couple of mm thick, and I'm not sure yet on the attachment. :D Probably magnets glued to the cover that then fit into holes in those ledges, and those will have more magnets glued in behind.

I have imbedded (with superglue) small rare earth discs in thicker picks after drilling a forester bit hole. It worked for a while but eventually fell out with use. Then I glued it in and applied office-supply style scotch-tape on both sides trimmed to the pick shape. Bingo! Just bringing it up related to your thin ledge - you could drill through it, superglue a disc in and tape it on both sides like I did on my pick. The scotch tape is thin enough that it doesn't have much effect on adding thickness. Doing it like this you would only need 2 magnet discs.

I ordered a second set of pickups as I was poaching these from another build, but the new ones are slightly smaller. As a result, I decided to make slightly smaller covers, and so I made a new cover routing template, that will also serve as the dummy from which to make the pickup cavity routing template.

And I tested my f-hole design for @Reedt2000 :D

You need another hole for F holes....:D.....
