Quick gripe about Sweetwater: After the BSO demise, I ordered a pair of Labella flats on Sweetwater, forgetting about their schtick of throwing a few candies in with their orders. Anyway, because the package was no longer flat, either the little box of Milk Duds or the Skittles dinged up the Labellas (which aren't packaged very protectively btw). I'm done with them, their phone calls and their stupid candy.

It depends on the brand. Just Strings has GHS Balanced Nickels for $10 less than Amazon.

(Guitar) Strings & Beyond is my supplier. They carry the strings I want and have good delivery. Would probably deliver even better if I didn't live in Canada and have that pesky border.

Do you get dinged with a border fee when they ship over here? I just ordered from there and opted to just ship to the US.

Sweetwater. 18.99 for EB regular slinkies. Ordered on a Wednesday, they were in the mailbox on Friday. Yea, Amazon had them listed for 17.00. But I know the people at Sweetwater and prefer they make a living vs the Bezos borg.

Haven't found anywhere that has the wide variety of BSO. Everyone I've seen mainly stocks the larger gauges, leaving out the lighter gauge and short and medium scale options. HURRY BACK JASON!!! I'd go to my local music store to order the strings I need, but the guy I have to deal with grates my nerves, and the way he says D'Addario (DEE-ADDARIO) chaps me raw!!

I know nobody else will have customer service or selection as great, but we can't be too picky that the best is taking a rest.

Quick shipping, competitive prices, and an easy-to-navigate website are a must IMO.

Yup, 7 bucks flat rate whether you buy 1 set or 10 sets. If I buy 3 sets of balanced nickels, I am still paying 25 bucks less than Amazon, and that's factoring in shipping and tax. I'm not going to buy a single set, it's really not worth it, but even if I did, I still save a couple of bucks buying from Just Strings.
