I do use AGS, but I usually set it at 1:00. I don't really get much breakup until I use a pick. Bringing the low mids down also decreases the intensity of the overdrive and makes it more clear.

I bet that sounds amazing. I've been really wanting a Noble. How do you think the Khan compares?
I've gotten some great patches from Shae Wooten of Elevation Worship and Adam Kiser of Bethel Music. Shae's is super clear with a punchy attack and Adam's is super dirty, emulating his settings on the Tone Hammer and bass microsynth.
I had the Noble with my main setup also and compared the Khan against it. To me I liked the khan best as I felt the preamp of the Noble clashed with the preamp of the Messenger. The clarity and precise adjustments of the Broughton Messenger paired with the Khan Tube Goodness was a match made in heaven. My bandmates begged me to never get rid of the Khan lol.
I can second those two choices. Both are phenomenal. I am a big fan of the Bethel tone so the Kiser one was always a go-to. I use an actual Tone Hammer and MicroSynth now so no need for that preset, but it was pretty darn close. Also, the HX MicroSynth emulation tracks a lot better than the actual pedal.
Haha same. I'm basically running Shae Wooten's patch now with the microsynth and tone hammer in an effects loop that replaced his amp block. I like his settings for compression and boost at the beginning as well as his IRS

I love the noble also and it sounded great with my setup but the Khan was better to my ears, our sound engineer's and band mates ears.

The Khan really is fantastic. It makes anything you plug into it sound massive.

Hmm. Well it is shorter than the REDDI, not as long wide or high as the Zod and very similar to the Broughton SSDI/P-15 so I guess all of these must be "massive". It's only 1" wider and taller and 4 inches longer than the Noble. I carry the 2DI4 in a Pedaltran Nano carrying case.

Im guessing the 2DI4 was redesigned at some point since the dimension info on their website you linked is not accurate?
It was a joke that didn't land lol. The picture showed a close up and made it look huge. I've heard great things about this device.
