I am lucky enough to be able to play with the praise and worship team at Fellowship of the Woodlands in the Houston, TX area. www.fotw.org There is a rotation of bass players that play the main services, but the church is opening a satellite campus across town and I will get to play there full time.
I use my Lakland 55-94 Deluxe straight into the board, but am looking to get a tube pre-amp pedal to warm the sound up a little. Everyone goes into the board, so I am not being discriminated against. (Have to fill up that auditorium somehow.)
EDIT: Forgot to add my favorite song to play. "Again I say Rejoice" By Israel and the New Breed. It is great to watch the congregation respond to the off time funk.

What a small world. My wife and were members at FOTW from 97-00. I was on the sound crew for most of that time. Towards the end I picked up the bass again and played for the mid-week service, the ladies Bible study and in the elementary school band.
Checking in here from Dallas: I have been playing at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church's contemporary "Crosswalk Service" for the last 3 years. Also supporting a Friday evening Singles Service for the last year.

I'll throw in. I play a TRB-1005 through a 300W Peavey rig (though I usually leave the extension cab at home, so it's 200W; more than enough).
Favorite praise song: Jars of Clay - Faith Like A Child (It's pretty easy, and you can cut out the instrumental break).

Its kinda funny because i play for a Christian Church (Lutheran me thinks) but I'm not necessarily Christian. I was raised that way and i definitely believe in a God but lately i've been drifting away from it. I'm not sure if Christianity or any other established religion shares my beliefs...

just finished an amazing outdoor concert in the southern neighbourhood of Cairo called Maadi..... what an amazing night of worship with Brian D and the band... too cool, a little freaky, but very cool.
For backline they had this awesome older Ashdown ABM500 4x10" that was ;of course; covered in sand and rusty, the Drive and Sub didn't work but that was fine as I don't use those anyway.
BUT, it was lots of fun to play, great folks too.
now must get some sleep.......

Hey, guys, I might not be on TB for much longer. I just wanted to shout out and let you all know that God loves you and I love you.
I love playing at church...I get to do what I love to do for the One I love...what could be better than that?
