You can't take a cheap instrument, artificially age it, and expect me to drool over it.
I know this isn't a bass, but this has GOT to be the worst relic job I've ever seen. There should be a law against doing this to such a beautiful instrument.

Great point. I can see if someone took care and pride in what they did.Artificial distressing I don't have any problem with - it's not my thing personally, but I accept that others like it and I can appreciate a well done relic job. However, there's a degree of skill and an understanding of the desired aesthetic that's required to pull it off well, and neither appeared to be present for the brutally victimized Strat in question.
