Smart on their part. And also since a typical merchant account requires someone to ship when charged.

Same here. I almost pulled the trigger for a pair, but I realized (1) I already have a nice pair of Alesis nearfield powered studio monitors, and (2) This can't be real.

I remember reading last year on TB...someone ordered a bass that RETAILED at $999 and got it for like $79 or something..the thread is on TB somewhere.

I hope AMS honors some of those speakers for you guys..and anyone that got more than 1 pair...AHEM!!! Would love a pair.
