when a girl wants to be just friends, the first thing you think of is that you have more time to play the bass when you're single...

when you're at any random band gig, even music you dont even like, and you just stand there looking at the bassist, judging his playing style and trying to guess what bass it is, and have a good time after all, when the bassist is talented![]()
I do this all the time! In fact, I heard some live music today, and walked over just to check out the bass player, his instrument and rig.

i honestly thought i was the only person who was upset at this haha. and she plays an ugly bass at that part lol
When you don't need to take any reading material when going for a dump, because you have an acoustic bass, sitting on a guitar stand, right next to the "throne".
Or in my case I take along my 30" scale Shergold.
20 frets rules.
You do realize you're setting yourself up for a big joke, right, Fassa? Didn't you already get something on that bass...?
But 30" would be the way to go, esp. if you live in a small flat.![]()
Needless to say, I quietly went back to eating my burger...Last week my wife & I took the kids to Friday's for dinner. On the wall next to our table were various framed "artsy" photos (over-exposed, splashes of color, etc.). One of the pictures featured a guy playing a fretless 5-string ABG.
"Hey, it's Abe Laboriel!", I said to my wife & two sons.
My boys looked at me with confused, blank stares & my wife gave me the old "you are the biggest DORK in the world" look of disgust!Needless to say, I quietly went back to eating my burger...
Yup, I'm obsessed with bass.
BTW - it was a Yamaha that Abe was playing! LOL!!!
You also know you're obessed with bass when the word 'stilletto' has nothing to do with shoes.
