I'm using an EP Booster to satiate my Submarine desire. No tone control, but it adds some sizzle to the tone.
Apart from the sizzle, does it do anything warmth-wise?

The new preamp offered by talkbass favorite fuzzrocious (Broke Dick Peanut Gallery) is his take on the submarine preamp. I'm guessing it will have its own sound....but it is an option.

It'd be easier to pull that off without offending SOMEONE than a female version imo!
