Zon basses - is everything OK ?

I received my bass. I placed the order mid 2020. I spoke with Joe about outstanding orders and he stated that he's working hard on getting them out. I wish everyone here with multi-year waits luck on getting their instruments.

I received two very encouraging emails (both with near immediate responses) over the past 2/3 weeks. Again, I'm not holding my breath just yet, but it may be very close for me and I will be sure to let you guys know one way or the other!

Not yet. I had some promising correspondence with the shop in October, but it fizzled out. My last two emails have been from Joe, and seem to have a bit more fuel behind them. We shall see in a week or two

Looks great, and it seems like they've now added a new truss-rod adjustment mech, which allows you to tweak it on the Sonus body, without having to remove the neck. Nice

Yes. It's one of the first with the truss wheel.
