Zoom B3 As Preamp Part 2

When it is not on my board, I use a World Tour padded case (the one that measures 10.00" x 6.75" x 2.50"). It can be seen here: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

It is a nicely cushioned and has a little stiffness. Even has room for my MS-60B, and a couple of adapters.

^I did that because my friend wanted to test his bass fuzz(he's a boutique pedal and amp builder, and does all my tech work on my basses), just make sure you have a tuner you like(didn't realize how much I like the one on the B3). It is fun to play without it every now and then and I had equally fun new toy to use but it's definitely something that is staying in the arsenal, just so much in a little package.

Could we get a commitment from B3 owners to send emails to Zoom for the Version 2.0 Firmware Upgrade? Perhaps if we flood customer service with emails, they would consider the upgrade. Let us know if you get a response. I'm going to contact them today. I'll post how they respond.

Already done it.

Great!, I just sent my email. I also suggested that Zoom should consider having a Representative join TB so that we can get questions answered (if we have any about the unit) as well as give feedback (like Tech 21).

I mentioned about increasing the simultaneous effects (the G3 has 6) and adding more amp simulations (the G3 has 22), plus I mentioned other things that were stated by others here at TB that should be upgraded. I'll share the response when I get one.

Could any of you give here the e-mail address to use? Thanks.

It may also matter quite a bit, at least in my experience with bigger companies, where such mails go. Otherwise, notably when using the ordinary customer service e-mail address, one risks that such feedback is not really effective unless it reaches the right person(s), i.e. the people who really consider these issues.

So, what e-mail to use?

The email address I used was:

It's the only email contact I could find on their website. I still haven't heard anything but it has only been two days.

Hello everybody -
I purchased two B3's and love them, but NEED the extra functionality. Taking a cue from the above posters, I took a stab at a petition. Under the heading of "It Never Hurts to Try", I created this. Please review, suggest edits, sign, forward, tell two friends, who will tell two friends, etc.

Here goes nothing.

Please repost in whatever B3 threads you see fit.
