    For me, I'd say go the MIJ. Numerous people query their pickups, but IMO the build quality is comparable to anything I've tried. I love them! Good luck!

    I got one of these, Boss HF-2, recently after chopping out my TC Vortex. I loved the Vortex but I'm terribly impressed by the Boss. So easy to use. Awesome sound IMO. I recommend this pedal most passionately. Good luck with your search!

    The Hummingbird IS entirely AWESOME! Goes from standard (though delicious!!!) tremolo sounds to absolutely obnoxious synth-esque tones... it's everything and more than it's supposed to be... IMO an absolute winner in the tremolo category...
