    to be honest, the darryl jones skyline (1300$ new) and USA (4000-5000$ new) were to expensive... i bought a fender marcus miller jazz bass, put a sadowksy preamp in it and changed pick-ups (seymour duncan) the bass+plus preamp cost me about 1300-1400$ and it sounds sooo good, so much better...
