    Yeah, I should have mentioned I've got a Basslite in my R100 which evens out the volume between the two nicely.

    I love the chained R100 and R200. The 12" and 15" together are magic to my ears. YMMV, but definitely give it a try.

    I was surprised by that and ended up turning the upper mids way down after putting in a Basslite in my R100. It's a serious boost over the stock speaker. Would probably work well for someone looking for a brighter modern tone, but definitely not what you want for old school.

    I have to admit I haven't seen anything I like better than the classic black and silver. The black and oxblood was interesting, but the white is awful.

    Personally, I'm a big fan of the R200 and a huge fan of the stacked R100 and R200. That's the old school sound I was looking for.

    I understand trying to match the 100 to the 200. I really love the old school 200 tone. I don't actually hear the vintage compression much and never thought of it as a problem. Then again, I have low output pickups and tend to keep the gain around 9 which may explain that. I'm still learning...
