I can’t answer your other questions, but can answer these. I use my 800 at home with the extension cab and have it at a low volume for practice and it sounds just great. There is no ambient fan noise, you definitely can’t hear it above your playing, even at low levels. Don’t let the fan noise...

Is there a similar list for the stage 800 of what the presets are supposed to mimic?

A few of us on here have both. It makes it louder than just the Stage 800 by itself so you get the full 800w if you need the volume. I don’t know if it changed any tone from what I remember without it but it pushes more air so maybe? It does look cool. I was also worried about not being able to...

Lemur and Barfany both got it right. Sokolasty is also correct in that they are close enough that it would be hard to tell the difference amongst other instruments.

I just recorded me with my iPad in the middle of both amps (Rumble v3 100 and the Stage 800 with the same Rumble v3 selected) and hit the AB/Y switch. Very unscientific but it is what it is. See if you can tell which amp is which. I’ll post the answer tomorrow. Hopefully this link works for the...
