I have need for a set of Red Rhodes VELVET HAMMER pups for a P Bass build I'm looking into. Now, my first choice would be to find a set, NOS or used ... PERFECT!!! Failing that, which if any of the currently available manufacturers makes a pup that most closely duplicates Red's beauties?

OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!! Absolutely NO! I created a "band room" in the basement of our new home when we built it. My bandmates only had to bring their guitars (and only because they wanted to), since I had everything set up and ready to go ... all the time.

I FOOLISHLY sold a '72 Natural/Ash Maple/Pearl Blox Jazz Bass that I had owned for 38 years!!! I also sold a beautiful '73 Natural/Ash Maple P Bass that I had owned for over 20 years. I sold an 80's Fiesta Red Rosewood P Bass that I owned for 20 years. WHAT AN IDIOT!
