An app called yousician. It's like songster but it helps you progress speed and timing wise. That's all I have been doing lately.

Yeah. Sometimes it's best to just stay put. I once saw a band on YouTube where the guitarist was spinning his guitar around his neck and smashed the vocalist in the face. Needless to say, the vocalist never went near the guitarist during live shows again.

Keep in mind this is only after one week of starting to learn finger style bass. I played with a pick for the last three years, and I've decided it's time to widen my taste in music And yes I am playing well sitting down. But that's only until I can get used to playing finger style.
