Being in a band where one guitarist plays an 8 string tuned to drop E and the other one played a 7 string tuned to drop E, I could see this as being a pretty fun thing to have. Seeing as how in don't have a bass that can get down lower than them (yet).

I use a .135 as a G# on my 5ers. I've been looking for something bigger. This sounds promising. Except it's not a top loading bridge, so it might not even fit, the .135 barely fits, sort of. :(

I hate these threads. Not the people asking for opinions part, the people giving objective responses to a subjective topic. I use a 4x10 and 1x15. Just use what sounds good. There is no right or wrong answer: if it sounds good, it's right, if it doesn't, it's wrong.
