Absolutely correct, altough I want to put some straplocks on her. I’m still not sure cause she’s hanging nicely on the wall in the studio and never goes to a gig.

    Ampeg svt4 cuts out....Overheating?

Drilled 2 pcs. of 3" on each side of the SKB Roller case, giged it last night: no problems. The complete set got warm (not hot) but that's because a SVT4pro paired with a SVP-pro have about 8pcs of 12AU7/AX-7tubes. Add up the solid state 1200Watts power amp and the heater is on!! Cheers...

Fender Design versus boutique - ever go back?

My first bass was a Jazzbass in 1979!!! After a lot of basses thru the decades I exclusively play P-Bass. (CS models like PINO and 59) The best sound in the mix!! Had a lot of Stingrays (B00's 4 and 5's) but I'm more of the passive club these day's. However I have a fretless Deluxe. Let...

You are absolutely right! I have a Ol.W.62 RI which is great but not like the Pino or the 59 CS. The 50 classic is the best value for money you can get for a Fender P-Bass. I have made a back-up Pino from a 62 and a 50's classic. Swopping the neck and the PG!! It's the one in the back...

    My new Ampeg SVT4Pro says: K O R E A ! ! ! !

Just bought a brandnew SVT4Pro as a backup for my SVT CL. It's build in Korea and not in China or Vietnam!!! Very high buildquality!!! Sounds great!! Very nice compressor. Anyone who had it build in a flightcase. What about the heat??? It blows out on the sides???!!:hmm: Cheerz, Theo

Are the SVT covers from Ampeg any good?

It's the best "non gear" buy I did last year. For us Europeans you can only order from the Ampeg website-store but it's closed for a very long time:crying::crying::help: How come???? Theo

Are the SVT covers from Ampeg any good?

I have several covers in use this moment: I have a SVT CL head cover, a SVT810 and a SVT410HLF cover. Very nice looking but most important very heavy duty.:hyper: Beats any case (this means if you manage your own(non roady) transport that is) a flightcase (wood) really ads up the weight which...

Hi Sneha, Of course.......Fender is building one off's and Special Run P-Basses. This is what they have been doing for a long time. What Mike Eldred told me was it was a new regular stock such as 55 and 59 P-Basses. This doesn't mean they where discontinued!! Cheers, Theo
