It's definitely a Schecter, you can read it on the book in person. It looks like the Stargazer design, but I can't find it in a natural finish. I think it looks killer though.

But I think I want a fretless, so I was looking at the Squier VM, and the one thing that keeps me from buying it is that I would like to have inlays on the fretboard. Now, I'm not going to spend that much money to put inlays in, so if I bought it, is there a cheaper way to put dots on the fretboard?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this... I've had my SX for a couple months now, and the strings have always been at a slight angle related to the neck. I've realized that the neck doesn't fit exactly in the pocket, and between the side of the upper horn and the base of the neck...
