I played in a Roky Erickson cover band and those were the easiest (and coolest!) basslines I ever played. Roky sure had a way with chord progressions. Then I joined a Zappa cover band. Oh dear! Everyone else in the band reads. I don't, sadly. So, essentially, I had to memorize everything...

I have 2 tuners ... an EHX true bypass and a clip-on. Neither seems to "see" the B string on my new Schecter. What am I missing? All the other strings are fine.
