The neck is definitely thicker than a jazz at the nut/first fret. I equate it to a P-bass depth with Jazz width if that makes sense?

I personally love these cabs. They tend to break up pretty quick, which I like.

You should be fine. You definitely don't want to get a 4x10 4ohm cabinet unless you want to run that exclusively without the internal 2x10s. I don't think phasing applies in this instance since you're using the same sized speakers.

You've got it part right. When it's full clockwise that is set at what would normally be 0 on any amp. Turning it counter-clockwise will cut that frequency. I think there was a diagram somewhere illustrating it. Let me see if I can find it.

I got a hagstrom viking baritone. I like it. It does feel more comfortable than a normal guitar. However it's definitely a different beast tone wise vs a normal guitar.

Anybody every find a hard shell case that will fit the shifter?
