I just discovered a Spector NS-94 on the local gumtree and it is selling for $400 ^^^in mint condition with hardcase, lead and strap. So guys I've narrowed it down to two guitars, the ibanez's neck feels really smooth and is alot lighter then the SG. The tones are great but aren't as much variety as the SG. It also doesn't look as good as the SG. The ibanez I feel has sticky frets if you know what I mean but I can get this...

I'm also looking to buy one of these. The thunderbird is heavier but is recommended as the BEST beginner bass all over the web. But the EB-3 is a bit lighter, looks very classical and has more of a varied amount of tones.

I'm looking to buy a legend 4 as my first bass. Anyone got one that can give me a quick review. I tried one today, Little to no fret buzz at all. Smooth neck and strings placed the right distance apart.

I know what I want...but I just need to know if it's worth buying the fender now and upgrading to the Spector later. Or just go all out and buy the Spector?
