Are your sure because the dod has volume spikes but i'm pretty sure that's part of the filter i'm pretty sure if u turn either the peak down or range to low i'm pretty sure that would stop the spikes. But i could be wrong

Yeah i originally wanted q-tron but nobody had any in stock so i went with the DOD bit once i get some money saved up i'm gonna either take it in to the guitar shop and see what they can do with it or start looking for a qtron

I personally love GK and have been using them for as long as i've been playing but if your focusing on more of the punk rock scene then i would go with the ampeg and even if you went with the 800rb you wouldn't be very happy with it . If you go with GK go with a 700 or 1001rb

Yeah i know the only reason i was gonna use the BL is because i already have one and love the tinny sound i'm getting from it and just wanted to add a real nice growly sound to my tone and if i didnt like it i'd just trade it in for an actual preamp

Yes i know all that but i think i can get a better bright tinny tone out of my backline and a better growly sound from the RB. And i dont have the cab to do that

Yes i rented a 1001rb ii, 4x10 and a 1x15 rbh for a gig and also used my BL600 as a preamp to the 1001 and i absolutely loved the tone but i'm more worried about long term durability

Well if they are such horrible cabs then why do some of the best bass players in the world use them like Duff Mckagen, Tim Foreman, Justin Chancellor, and Flea?

Yeah but i'm not truly in a gym i'm up on the weight deck above the gym and it has concrete walls all around it but my sound has to be projected down to the gym where the audience is so it's kind of a double whammy of sorts
