Technically I believe so but I already had the other books and I just bought The Silmarillion a few days ago. This will be my first time reading it. I've heard it can be a tough read.
I read about his passing this morning. I was introduced to him in the Bond movies but I agree with the OP. The Russian House was a great film. RIP to a legend
I've been looking online for a pickguard to match Geddy's he had on his bass in the rock and roll hall of fame but can't seem to find it. If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. I've attached a picture to reference the one I'm talking about.
if i adjust the pickup height on a bass when it's plugged into the amp with the volume on the bass turned all the way down will that damage the pickups? It's a passive bass btw
Yeah I can. Just didn't know is it was supposed to be that way or not. I know it's modeled after a 70s bass. I have a 5 string jazz bass and both pickups appear to be the same height off the fretboard.
I recently got a USA Geddy Lee and this thing sounds killer, looks great and plays like a dream. I noticed the pickup closest to the neck was offset a bit. If you are looking down at it from the E string it looks like it is going uphill if that makes any sense. Basically it is lower on the E...
Recently purchased off of Talkbass. 2019 Musicman Stingray special with roasted maple neck. Can't say enough good things about this bass. Has an amazing tone and looks superb. It plays and looks a lot better than my picture taking abilities.
Looking for suggestions on a decent combo amp with some effects built in. Preferably 500 watts or around that. Something that has some power, can keep up with a full band and is good to gig with or just practice around the house. Price isn't a big factor.
