2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

Still waiting on it TC. They thought it might be here today but sadly no. We have a public holiday on Monday so it looks like it will be next Tuesday or Wednesday. Funny, I can get guitars shipped here from the States quicker than it takes to ship from the South Island to the North Island. I am hoping that it will be a good match with nv115, if not I guess I will be buying a couple of av112 cabs.

Ok well let us know when you get some time with it. I've got mine paired with the 212AV cab and love it. I'm gonna either get another for bigger situations or thinking about a 215. Not sure which route I'll take yet.

• I will post a pic of the V4b sitting on the Berg as soon as it arrives. I last used the Berg with a Fender 100T so it should be interesting.

Jwood...that is awesome looking! I thought I had myself convinced I did not need an 810 for my v4b! I am convinced I need one again after seeing that rig!

That blue and silver looks so darn good...makes ya wonder why they ever went to black grill cloth.

Thanks for for compliments fella's. I'm pretty stoked to have this in the arsenal, I've got a couple of gigs this week and plan on using the V4B. I'm not sure the 810 will make it out...YET!

Here is a shot of my Heritage cab and the V4B with the modded grill. It is difficult to get a good shot - the grill cloth usually looks more sparkly in person.

They have talked about selling new grills but I don't think it's materialized yet. In the meantime, Bruce at www.fliptops.net can build you one.

Hey Jwood that is one AWESOME looking rig and I know it sounds just as good. If I had a way to haul it I would be getting an SVT 810AV or the SVT 810 Heritage. This new V4B Reissue has the best tone I've found in an amp yet. Enjoy!!!!!
